I'm surrounded by darkness,
looking at a night sky as blank as an infant.
Not a star in the sky,
I feel nothing but loneliness.
Yet even if the sky was filled with a million stars,
I'd only be searching for mine.
It takes everything not to run to refuge,
but I know that nothing else is truly the cure.
So I stand in the darkness waiting,
for my star to shine down on me once again.

For my star in the sky. I miss you.

the words that went with this were beautiful, and because this is such a rare style and it was done so well, this gets a fav. good show- im picky with faves too.

Very cool. I really like the simplicity of the drawing and the poem is quite nice as well. This would probably sell quite nicely as a DA print.
